• The Essentials of APA 7 (Online)

+
Not feeling very confident with referencing? Not to worry! This session will go over the basics of APA 7, where you can find all the UoP support for referencing, and provides an opportunity for students to ask questions.

If you're doing intense research and would like to stay organised, this is the session for you! Reference management software may appear complex at first glance but provides the opportunity to store your resources in one place. This session is aimed at dissertation or graduate level students who already have a basic understanding of referencing. While reference management software may appear to do your referencing for you - they don't. You still need to understand how specific citation styles are formatted and the correct information needed to do proper referencing or else you risk straying from the citation's guidance (and losing marks!).

These sessions are held on line and are free but do require registration and will not be recorded. If you are unable to attend these sessions, please feel free to book an appointment for one-to-one support.
