ECOTOX is a source for locating single chemical toxicity data for aquatic life, terrestrial plants and wildlife. The database was created and is maintained by the US Environmental Protection Agency. ECOTOX integrates three previously independent databases into a single system which includes toxicity data derived predominantly from the peer-reviewed literature, for aquatic life, terrestrial plants, and terrestrial wildlife


International Plant Names Index (IPNI) is a database of the names and associated basic bibliographical details of seed plants, ferns and fern allies. Its goal is to eliminate the need for repeated reference to primary sources for basic bibliographic information about plant names. The data are freely available and are gradually being standardized and checked. International Plant Names Index will be a dynamic resource, depending on direct contributions by all members of the botanical community
