Can sound be an object? Why are cassettes still so popular around the world? Do we all experience sound in similar ways?
Dr John Kannenberg, Curator of the Museum of Portable Sound, will answer these and many more questions spanning the gamut from product design to natural history in his free public talk starting at 5.30 pm this Thursday in the University Library.

Everyone is welcome. If you do not have a university card or external members library card, please arrive by 5.15pm and report to the Library Reception with some form of photographic ID. Under-18s must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult.
