Restricted visitor access (1-28 May 2023)

Demand for Library study spaces peaks in the approach to the Examination and Assessment Period each year. We are therefore restricting access to our own students and staff during May to ensure there is sufficient study space for our students. Between 1-28 May 2023, we are unable to allow access to visitors, external members, SCONUL Access members, and anyone under the age of 18. Thank you for your understanding.
Current staff and students
Current students and staff will continue to enjoy uninterrupted 24/7 access and can obtain 24-hour passes from the self-service kiosk should they forget their student or staff card throughout May.
Arranging a conference, event or tour of the University Library?
We will continue to welcome tours, conference and event delegates during this period but ask that organisers provide the Library with a list of delegates for events where delegates are not expected to be escorted in and out of the Library as a group.
