Free text searching

Use the field below to enter a key word or phrase to be found in the dissertation abstract or title. You can use a wild card (*) before or after a keyword to find partial matches. E.g. computer finds just computer, comput* finds computer, computing etc. *comp* finds incompatible, compatible etc. You cannot use wild cards in phrases. Note: only words longer than 3 characters have been indexed.

You can search for dissertations by course. You can make multiple selections by pressing the Control key (PC) or Command key (Mac) when selecting. Use Control or Command and click to de-select an option. (Note: only courses which have submitted dissertations are listed. Some courses have been discontinued). If we don’t hold examples of dissertations from your department/school/subject Group, please ask your department/school/subject Group for guidance: examples may be provided instead via your VLE.
